Camp Connections provides full scholarships for a limited number of CSFP scholars to enroll in one of our pre-selected educational summer camp partners. Applications for this program are collected in April with spots given out via random lottery.
The purpose of Camp Connections is to combat “summer slide” by providing an enriching and fun opportunity for CSFP scholarship recipients to learn, grow, and be challenged outside of their regular school environments. CSFP has built partnerships with local institutions such as LaSalle University and St. Joe’s Prep to provide opportunities for summer instruction in essential fields such as STEM, STEAM, math, writing, technology, college readiness, and workforce development!
If you are interested in having your CSFP scholar participate in Camp Connections, please read the program descriptions before submitting an application. Your available options will be determined by your student’s grade. You may only apply for ONE program, so please consider the descriptions, dates and times, and transportation/other logistics before making your selection. Applying for a program DOES NOT guarantee selection for that program. If selected, it is expected that your student will be able to attend for the full dates of the program.
Please note if your student is selected for this opportunity, CSFP will handle all registration directly with the program unless otherwise noted. Students should not register directly with the program unless instructed to do so upon approval from CSFP. Families who are not selected for the Camp Connections opportunity will be notified shortly after the deadline.
