St. Malachy School buzzed with excitement and activity on Saturday, January 14 as hundreds of new scholarship recipient families gathered to meet CSFP staff and learn more about our scholarship program. CSFP conducted orientation sessions on program requirements for families, and provided one-on-one assistance with the online registration process. The presentations provided parents with important school selection deadlines, program requirements and details about the 160 partner schools their children are now able to attend with the support of a four-year CSFP scholarship. Following the presentations, staff held a Q & A session to address new scholarship recipient questions or concerns. CSFP volunteers, donors, Parent Ambassadors and staff provided families with assistance as they familiarized themselves with CSFP’s online portal and completed the registration process.
CSFP would like to thank our friends at SEI and current Parent Ambassadors for volunteering, and our partner, St. Malachy School, for hosting this event at their new campus.
Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia is proud to welcome the 1,600 newly-selected recipients into our scholarship program. CSFP will accept scholarship applications for the 2017-2018 school year through March 1st. All low-income Philadelphia families seeking a quality private K-8 education for their children are encouraged to fill out a free, simple application.
