Leanne Clancy
Director of Admission & Financial Aid, Greene Street Friends School
Leanne Clancy is the Director of Admission & Financial Aid. She also helps guide the graduating 8th graders through the high school admission process. She arrived at Greene Street Friends School in July, 2003.
Before coming to Greene Street, Leanne worked for many years in the world of college admissions, including her role as Senior Associate Director of Admission at Bryn Mawr College, from 1995 to 2003. She also worked with the first cohort of students from Say Yes to Education, now a national program that paves the way to college for low income students. Leanne earned her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, and a M.S. in Education from the University of Pennsylvania.
Leanne is on the Board of Directors of Commonwealth Youthchoirs and is a past board member of the Gladwyne Free Library. She and her husband are the parents of two children, Nathan and Elizabeth, both “lifers” at Greene Street Friends School.
