La Salle Summer STEM Enrichment Program
Dates & Time: July 5-21, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.  
Age/Grade:  Grades 1-9
Description: The La Salle STEM Summer Enrichment Camp offers students entering grades 1 through 9 (as of September 2023) inclusive, engaging, and integrated learning experiences across all subject areas including math, science, technology, media, foreign languages, engineering, language arts, and social studies.

Careers Explorations in Horticulture Camp
Dates & Time:
  June 26-June 30, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.  
Age/Grade: Grades 6-9
Description: Discover the wide variety of opportunities in the horticulture and green industries, including Landscape Architect/Designer, Greenhouse Manager/Grower, Florist, Aquaponics/Hydroponics, Horticulturist, Botanical Illustrator, and much more!

Lego Robotics Academy Camp
Dates & Time:
  July 10-July 14, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.  
Age/Grade: Grades 6-9
Description: Students will use Lego® Mindstorms™. Combine Lego® pieces, motors, sensors, and computer software to create moving robots that react to light, avoid obstacles, and do all sorts of amazing things! Campers will create robots, participate in daily challenges and enjoy some fun head-to-head “battle bot” style competitions.

SeaPerch Robots Camp
Dates & Time:
  July 17-July 28, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.  
Age/Grade: Grades 6-9
Description: Dive into the world of underwater robots! SeaPerch is an underwater robotics program that equips campers with resources to build an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV) while learning about robotics, engineering, science, and math. Teams will test their robots, competing in challenges in the campus pool (campers will not be in the pool; no swimming required).

Middle School STEM Academy
Dates & Time:
  July 31-August 11, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.  
Age/Grade: Grades 6-9
Description: Embark on engaging challenges in mathematics, science, and computer science.

Take the Stage Theater Camp
Dates & Time:
  June 19-June 30, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.  
Age/Grade: Grades 6-9
Description: Putting on a play is more than just costumes, applause, and bows. Discover what an audition is like. Play games that build your confidence and improve your skills. Create and act out monologues and short scenes. Develop your creative expression and public speaking skills to create rapport with the audience. This camp will end in a performance.

Arts, Meditation, & Mindful Movement
Dates & Time:
  Several sessions available, June 20-July 28, 9 a.m – 3 p.m  
Age/Grade: Age 7-10
Description:  Our campers learn and practice affirming, empowering meditation techniques and self-regulation skills along with yoga poses and sequences (both teacher and student-led!) These practices are creatively and mindfully integrated with both 2D and 3D mixed-media art projects. Each yogi will build their own sketchbook and art portfolio to take home their creations at the end of the week!

Beat Makers
Dates & Time:
 July17-July 27, 9 a.m – 12 p.m  
Age/Grade: Grade 3-5
Description: Students will learn to use digital audio workshops by creating their own audio “sketches” working directly with digital instruments and computer software while also venturing into the city to capture and remix its sounds. By the end of the course, students will have an audio portfolio, a culminating project, and a basis of skills and resources they can continue to develop.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (logical reasoning & science)
Dates & Time:
 June 26-June 30 & July 10-July 14, 9 a.m – 12 p.m
Age/Grade: Age 9-13
Description: Join us as a Caper Scene Investigator, use logical reasoning and forensic science to solve a mystery. After all the analysis is complete, students will combine the evidence with witness interviews to arrive at logical conclusions and solve the mystery.

Webcomics Workshop (Mixed media art)
Dates & Time:
 August 1-August 10
Age/Grade: Grades 7+
Description: Students will depict a narrative arc through digital, traditional drawing, and mixed digital media, learn technical processes of digitizing and uploading work to the web, and begin building a website. Participants will end the program with an online portfolio they can continue to build independently and use for years to come.

Description:  Get a high school experience and great exposure to St. Joseph’s Prep, its teachers and unique academic experience — all while gaining close-knit friendships and Philly experience that makes the Prep so special. From classic “prepare-U” courses like English and Math, to contemporary hits like Media and Technology, Leadership and Improv Comedy, Prep U students can learn a lot this summer at the Prep! Camp is co-ed – open for boys and girls.

Description: Bring your drawings and sculptures to life! This camp will introduce a variety of animation techniques using PAFA’s state-of-the-art digital facilities and traditional methods of animation. With the newly learned tools and techniques campers can continue animating at home!

Paintmaking 101
