Help make a great investment in the life of a Philadelphia child at little or no cost .

The Educational Improvement Tax Credit program was established in 2001 to provide businesses with a tax credit for their donations to nonprofit Scholarship or Education Improvement organizations . The PA Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) provides companies with up to a 75% of donations tax credit (for a one year commitment) and up to 90% of donations tax credit (for a two year commitment), not to exceed $300,000, for donations made to approved, nonprofit scholarship organizations. By combining the EITC with deductions on Federal and PA tax liabilities for gifts to charitable organizations, the program can be virtually cost free to donors. To date more than 2,800 businesses have redirected nearly $300 million in tax dollars to educational organizations.
