We are thrilled to announce that we will be awarding 2,000 new scholarships at our annual award ceremony on June 15, 2012 at the home of the Philadelphia Phillies, Citizen’s Bank Park.
James J. Maguire will be honored as CSFP’s 2012 Citizen of the Year at this year’s award ceremony. Together with his wife Frannie, Jim started The Maguire Foundation to support education and the arts both locally and nationally. The Maguire Foundation’s generosity has transformed so many young lives by providing unique educational opportunities at all age levels.
We will also be ushering in our new group of scholarship families and awarding them with the first of four years of scholarships to the private and parochial schools of their choice. This group of 2,000 new scholarship families is the largest in CSFP history, and we owe a huge thanks to our donors, including Mr. Maguire, for making this opportunity possible for our families.
We will be handing out individual awards to the winners of our Art & Essay Contest, as well as Student, Teacher, & Parent Recognition awards.
