My child's experience with the The Depaul Catholic School has been super awesome with education. Her 1st grade educator was extremely supportive and was able to provide knowledge in a interesting way. My child excelled in Math and became a Math helper to others in class. Ms. Meaney was very kind and communicated often. I did have a few instances with a 2nd grade child who bullied my daughter on several occasions. She took my child's snacks and hit her twice. She also stole my child's birthday money. I will say that Ms. Meaney and other staff stepped in and made sure that my child was protected and took measures to stop other incidents. They provided morning care for my child. This was great because it stopped the 2nd grader from interacting with my child on the school bus, during the time that students would have to spend outside before school doors opened. I put my child in a private setting to prevent any violent acts from happening. I feel that the staff did things that helped me to trust that my child would be safe moving forward.
