Congratulations! Lottery winners are provided instructions and an online link to complete the required registration process. An important part of this process is school selection. Please click here for more information regarding how to select, apply, and enroll your child in one of our participating private schools.
Once all of your scholarship registration information is received through our online system and verified by our staff, you will receive an invitation to our award ceremony held in June. You will receive your award letter at this event.
CSFP scholarships may be used at any of our 170+ schools approved for CSFP funding. This includes most independent private schools and many parochial schools in the greater Philadelphia metro area. A full list of CSFP network schools may be found here.
We recommend that you thoroughly research schools for your child. For schools located within the city of Philadelphia, a directory of profiles and ratings may be found here: www.GreatPhillySchools.org.
Our award opportunity is for 4 years, provided eligibility requirements continue to be met. These requirements include:
1. No money is owed to the school for last year’s tuition.
2. You are financially eligible according to CSFP income requirements. (The scale may increase slightly each year according to the rate of inflation).
3. You must continue to reside in Philadelphia.
4. Your child must be entering K-8th grade for the new school year.
Renewal information is gathered from parents each year in April, and they must requalify to remain in the CSFP program. In addition, children who receive CSFP scholarships must maintain an attendance rate of 90% or higher for each year they receive support, because you cannot benefit from a quality education if you don’t experience it.

One key component of educational success is parental involvement. Making a financial sacrifice is a strong incentive for getting, and keeping, parents involved in their child’s school and in the educational process. A CSFP Scholarship is a hand-up, not a handout.
