Meet Rashion, a bright 6th grader at St. Athanasius School, who loves math and science! He dreams of becoming a cop or an architect and enjoys bowling with his family.

Q: What do you like to do for fun?
A: Puzzle, drawing pictures and watching movies with my family. I enjoy bowling!

Q: What is your favorite subject at school? Why?
A: Math and science.

Q: Who is your role model? Why?
A: My mom- she works so hard by herself to keep a roof over our heads and she does everything for us. She makes sure we do homework and study and she cooks my favorite meals.

Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?
A: Maybe a cop or architect- I like drawing buildings.

Q: What are you looking forward to this school year?
A: Moving into a higher grade and the trips too.

Q: What are your hopes for your child?
A: For Rashion to become a police officer to make the world a better place.

Q: What makes your child’s school the best fit for her/him?
A: The teachers and staff are friendly and understanding to his situation.

Q: Why do you think it is important for your child to attend a tuition-based school? Are there changes you have noticed?
A: Safety and education. All his changes are good and shows that he is challenged to his fullest academically.

Q: What were your thoughts when you won the CSFP lottery?
A: I was so happy and proud to be picked to get a chance to give my my family a better opportunity.

Q: In what ways does this scholarship affect your family?
A: Many ways because it’s affordable with the help of the scholarship and takes away the hassle so you can budget the payments.

Q: What would you tell others who are looking to apply for a scholarship?
A: To apply and see the great chance it gives your child(ren) and for the extra information we get such as camps, shows, events, etc.
