Meet Marcial, a 5th grade student at St. Anthony of Padua School. When he’s not talking with his math teacher or having lunch wth friends, Marcial dreams of becoming a scientist!

Q: What do you like to do for fun?
A: Playing outside with my friends and my sister, watching television, and playing games.

Q: What is your favorite thing about your school?
A: Having lunch with friends, talking with my math teacher, and recess.

Q: What is your favorite subject at school? Why? What do you like most about it?
A: Science because I like doing experiments.

Q: Who is your role model and why do you look up to them?
A: My third grade teacher because she’s fun to be around.

Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?
A: A scientist because I want to do my own experiments.

Q: What are your hopes for your CSFP child?
A: To be success in life and own his own business.

Q: Why do you think it is important for your child(ren) to attend a tuition-based school in Philadelphia?
A: I believe that a tuition-based school provides better structure and discipline for my son.

Q: How does your CSFP scholarship affect your family?
A: It really helps me and my family financially.

Q: What would you tell others about CSFP?
A: It is a program that will help a student with good potential to be able to pursue a better education in Philadelphia.
