Q: What do you like to do for fun?
A: Play ball games outside with my next door neighbor and friend. I also take ballet lessons at the Allens Lane Art Center.

Q: What is your favorite thing about your school?
A: I have lots of friends from all the different grades.

Q: What is your favorite subject at school?
A: Math mostly but I love art too.

Q: Who is your favorite teacher and why?
A: My Kindergarten teacher because she has a very nice smile.

Q: Who is your role model and why do you look up to them?
A: My mom is my hero because she works hard to help me in school even when she works at night.

Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?
A: Sometimes I want to be a fairy princess but Mom said I have lots of time to think about it.

Q: What are your hopes for your CSFP child(ren)?
A: To earn a degree, be well educated, and to become an upstanding woman in America.

Q: Why do you think it is important for your child(ren) to attend a tuition-based school in Philadelphia?
A: My niece attended a public school and was relentlessly bullied. She complained of not learning or being challenged while in school. She transitioned to an alternative school this year and is graduating. She demanded that her little cousin, my daughter, attend a tuition-based school. I felt strongly about this argument and consequently applied for the Children’s Scholarship Fund.

Q: How does your CSFP scholarship affect your family?
A: I am able to feel safe and rest assured that my child is in a protected and healthy learning environment.
