The Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia, a program providing financial access for children from low-income Philadelphia families to attend K-8 tuition-based schools, appointed Heather Weiss Frattone as its new executive director.

Frattone joins CSFP from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she served most recently as associate dean for student and professional engagement.

An attorney with a background in public service, policy development and law, Frattone has worked in both higher education and the K-12 grade sphere.

Before her 10-plus year tenure at Penn Law, Frattone led the policy and planning efforts at the School District of Philadelphia and worked as an associate at Philadelphia law firms, Kleinbard LLC and Dechert.

Earlier in her career, Frattone worked in the White House Office of Legislative Affairs under President Bill Clinton and at the Public Interest Law Center.
