Deadline for Private School Scholarship Applications Is Fast Approaching

CSFP’s scholarship lottery closes soon. The Jewish Exponent covers our application process and impact on Jewish day schools in the area, in this article. “[CSFP is] a major plus for us, for our families,” said Besie Katz, head of school at Politz Hebrew Academy. “Families for whom sending [their kids] to a Jewish day school is not an option — they struggle and sacrifice for much. It allows them to send children while relieving some of the burden.”

New K-8th grade scholarship program established for children of slain, disabled police officers

Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP), the Connelly Foundation, and the Philadelphia Police Foundation have come together to form a new scholarship program, the Children of Police Scholarship (COPS) Fund. The program will provide K-8th grade scholarships to children of Philadelphia police officers injured in the line of duty. Read more about this exciting new partnership.
