Talking school choice, not politics, at the DNC

School choice advocates gathered this week at the Democratic National Convention to discuss the importance of choice for low-income children. “Let’s face it: Choice actually exists in America. … It exists for families who can afford to live anywhere,” he said. Aid and Awards For Students

On June 23rd, CSFP celebrated the successful conclusion of their $50million Campaign for 10,000 Children by awarding 2,000 new scholarships to low-income K-8th grade students in Philadelphia. Joining CSFP at the Kimmel Center were more than 1,500 CSFP families, supporters, volunteers, and friends including special guests Former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell and CEO of Wawa, Chris Gheysens. Santiago Vallejo, CSFP alumnus, spoke of his experience as a CSFP scholarship winner.
