Ongoing times and locations throughout April and May.

Managing 2,000 new families, who have just learned they were selected from our lottery and are eager to complete CSFP’s qualifying paperwork, can be a daunting task. Luckily, CSFP’s efficient, friendly staff has a little help from our friends. Volunteers have been helping CSFP host New Parent Orientations all over Philadelphia this spring. At the Orientations, CSFP pairs new parents with staff or volunteers who walk them through the process of registering for our online system and completing financial paperwork necessary to receive our needs-based scholarship awards. This valuable, one-on-one assistance, allows families to ask specific questions about our program and their scholarship, which gives parents the confidence they need to enroll their children in a tuition-based school.

We are grateful to our individual and parent volunteers, as well as groups from PECO, Philadelphia Insurance Companies, First Niagara, and more, who have helped hundreds of families on their path to a better future for their children.

Besides these Orientation Clinics, CSFP also hosted a School Fair, with over 40 of our great partner schools represented, on April 9. We would like to thank Gesu School for hosting this event, which helped parents gain valuable insights as to our program and the type of school they’d like to choose for their children.
