On January 13, representatives from Children Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP)’s network of over 185 quality area schools gathered for CSFP’s 10th annual Principals’ Meeting. At the meeting, Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia staff discussed the K-8th grade scholarship program guidelines and school evaluation processes with school representatives in attendance. The event also provided an opportunity for area school leaders to meet with one another.
CSFP’s needs-based K-8th grade scholarship program requires parents to independently select their child(ren)’s school, many of which would be financially inaccessible without CSFP support. In fact, Lynn Vaughters, Director of Enrollment at Community Partnership School, states “CSFP has allowed a wonderful group of families to join our school community. Without the opportunity scholarship that CSFP provides, our school would’ve been out of reach for these students.”
Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia would like to thank the school representatives who attended this event, as well as Roman Catholic High School for hosting the event. For more information about CSFP’s scholarship program, click here. To apply to our random scholarship lottery, click here.
