Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP) participated in two events this past weekend as part of the Global Citizen Greater Philadelphia Martin Luther King Day of Service. On Saturday, January 17, CSFP volunteers travelled throughout Philadelphia to distribute CSFP posters and new scholarship applications to local businesses to help spread the word about CSFP’s needs-based K-8th grade awards. On Monday, January 19, CSFP staff participated in the MLK Day of Service event held at Girard College and distributed materials about our scholarship program to low-income Philadelphia families.
CSFP would like to thank Baker Tilly for hosting the Application Distribution Event, as well as its Parent Network and Young Friends of Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (YFCSFP) members for their participation and efforts in helping CSFP reach more Philadelphia children in need of scholarship support.
