CSFP leaders share best practices, strategies at partner summit

Jan 25, 2016

On January 14 and 15, Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP)’s executive staff joined leaders from other Children’s Scholarship Fund National (CSF) partner organizations for a two-day summit. Representatives from over 20 programs shared ideas and experiences in order to help scale educational opportunities and outcomes for low-income children.

CSFP ED Ina Lipman served on a panel where she shared key marketing and development strategies employed by the Philadelphia program in order to meet the financial goals of its Campaign for 10,000 Children. CSFP’s Vice President, Development, participated in planning sessions on donor retention and engagement, and CSFP’s Program Director shared strategies for increasing family participation and school engagement. As the fastest-growing and second-largest CSF partner program, CSFP has emerged as a leader in its field. Most importantly, CSFP has helped to serve as a mentor to many terrific, smaller and newer scholarship organizations across the country.

CSFP is a member of the CSF Network, yet its fundraising and governance remain completely independent. Read more about CSFP’s history and governance.
