CSFP Executive Director Calls Businesses to Action

May 9, 2013

In a recent letter to the editor printed in The Philadelphia Inquirer, CSFP Executive Director Ina Lipman stressed the urgent need to provide more immediate educational solutions for children trapped in failed public schools. She states: “We cannot be satisfied that only 10 percent of all Philadelphia public school students will graduate from college. What future will these children have?”

The good news, Ina wrote, is that businesses in the community can make a difference in the lives of Philadelphia children and positively impact their communities at little to no cost through PA’s Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit program. Funding through this program is still available today. To learn more, please click here or contact Nicole Tell, VP of Development, at (215) 606-1874. To read the full article, please click here.
