CSFP’s scholarship program goes to the heart of our mission: to make quality K-8th grade education accessible to children from low-income Philadelphia families. Yet we know that not all education happens in the classroom. After learning from our families that many cannot afford cultural enrichment experiences, such as trips to a museum or attendance at performing arts events, CSFP initiated our popular Weekend at the Academy of Natural Sciences.
We are pleased to announce that CSFP will now expand this initiative through a new, unique partnership with Art-Reach. Together, CSFP and Art-Reach are planning several fun, family-oriented cultural outings for current CSFP scholarship recipients at greatly-reduced admission fees. CSFP is excited about our new partnership with Art-Reach and is confident that our families will now have much greater access to the many cultural activities that our city has to offer.
