2013 Math and Writing Tutorial

July 25th, marked the final day of CSFP’s four-session Math and Writing Tutorial. The course was designed to help prepare rising eighth and ninth grade students  for the upcoming school year. Philadelphia teachers conducted four, three and a half hour sessions during the month of July at Friends Select School.

Kevin, a parent of one of the 8th graders that  attended this year’s workshop, expressed his gratitude for the summer program: “My son, Vashon, enjoyed the experience and environment very much. I would like to see more of the same programs offered throughout the year and will be sending back my deposit check to CSFP as a donation to the program.”

CSFP would like to thank our supporters, and Friends Select School, for helping make the 2013 Math and Writing Tutorial a success. We hope to provide more programs like this to our students!
