Chelsea is a recent graduate of Lehigh University, where she received a B.A. in Global Studies with minors in Biology, Spanish, and Health, Medicine & Society. Chelsea’s undergraduate experiences living abroad and conducting research in China and Argentina opened her eyes to challenges that are unique to urban environments, especially in regards to education and healthcare equity. A Jack Kent Cooke Scholar alumna, she understands the challenges and incredible rewards of finding financial support for education, and is so excited to be a part of the CSFP mission! She volunteers regularly to teach English to Speakers of Other Languages in South Philadelphia, and plays the violin in her community orchestra.
