Margaret is the Interim Chief Human Resources Officer at Empire Today. She previously held the title of Vice President, Chief People Officer for Wawa. In her role, Margaret oversees all HR functions, including Workforce Planning, Organizational Development, Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Retirement, Benefits and Wellness, HRIT systems, as well as Internal Communications, Engagement and Recognition. Prior to joining Wawa, Margaret spent 14 years with Target, most recently as their Vice President of Human Resources for the North East where she led a team of seven HR Directors, 31 HR Business Partners and 480+ in-store HR Leaders, who supported 70,000 store team members that achieved over $17.7 Billion dollars in sales annually. Margaret holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Kutztown University. She obtained her Master of Science in HR Management from the New School for Social Research in New York and holds a Certification in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University. Margaret is a member of SHRM and the International Coaching Federation.
