The application period for 2012-2013 scholarships is closed. Thank you to all who aplpied for a scholarship. Lottery winners will be notified later this month (March). If you would like to be notified even if you were NOT chosen, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope (see below) or give us a call after the end of the month.
All CSFP scholarships are PARTIAL, 4-year awards. Please see the income guidelines to find out what scholarship percentage you would qualify for.
- All scholarships are awarded using a lottery that will be done in the 2nd week of March.
- You may submit one application per family.
- You may only apply for your biological children or children that you have legal guardianship or custody of.
- We will accept the first 7,000 applications, preference is not given to early applications - however you may not apply after the deadline.
- We will notify only those families selected by the lottery in March. If you would like to receive notification if you are not chosen you must send us a self-addressed stamped envelope. You my mail this to us at P.O. Box 22463, Philadelphia, PA 19110.
- If selected, you may use the scholarship at the private or parochial (must be tuition-based) school of your choice. Please see our School Directory for a list of schools in the Philadelphia area.
To be eligible you must:
1) be a resident of the city of Philadelphia
2) be considered a "low-income" family, according to our income guidelines
3) Have children entering Kindergarten through 8th grade
