“In June of 2001 my son lost his father and I lost my husband. This is
extremely difficult for an eight year old to grasp, but he is being a brave little
soldier. Now being a widowed mother, I am having tremendous difficulty with my
life and finances. My son has been an honor student and even tutors others in
his class to make sure they achieve their best. I do not want him to loose this
amazing education and will do whatever it takes to keep him in the school of
his choice. With this scholarship, this is the best gift I can give to my little
brave soldier.”
