As the Pennsylvania budget impasse continues into its seventh week, Pennsylvanians may be left wondering what the delay will affect. PA.gov has compiled a handy FAQ that illustrates the impact the impasse will have on the Commonwealth, which you can access here.
If you have applied to the Pennsylvania Educational Tax Credit programs (either EITC or OSTC) and are waiting to hear the status of your business’s application, the current Pennsylvania budget impasse will delay DCED’s issuance of tax credit award letters. DCED cannot issue any award letters (either renewals or new applications) until a budget is passed. CSFP anticipates that approved applicants should have their award letters by mid-fall.
