CSFP Hosts First-Ever Saturday at the National Constitution Center

Jul 22, 2015

On July 11, over 300 CSFP children and their families visited the National Constitution Center at a greatly-reduced admission price. Families learned more about Philadelphia’s unique legacy and deeply-rooted connection to our nation’s origin and growth.  CSFP believes in the added educational value that access to cultural events provide children.  We are delighted to be able to offer these enrichment experiences to our scholarship families. Said one parent of her family’s visit to the Constitution Center “My children loved learning about the revolution and seeing candy shot out of a cannon!”

CSFP would like to thank the National Constitution Center for hosting our families, and Art-Reach for their continued partnership with us.  In addition, CSFP gives a shout-out to our YFCSFP and Parent Network volunteers for their help in running this successful visit.
